Disney

Last Friday this cutie and I arrived at California Adventure Park when it opened. (thought I would beat the crowd..didn't happen) To think that I used to be scared to go to the grocery store with this guy and now I will take him to an amusement park alone...is very silly!

Whenever he sees a merry-go-round he wants to ride it and with our Disney passes of course all the rides are free so he actually gets too!

We made a pit stop for an uncrustable and I snapped a photo because I, of course as his Mama, think he is the cutest button eating his sandwich.

On Saturday morning I woke up to make coffee and make Easton's sippy cup of milk, only to realize the refrigerator was left open all-night-long. So we walked to breakfast and the grocery and of course made a pit stop at the park!

Something about seeing your husband and your child enjoying moments, is one of the best feelings in the world.

At the park we all attempted to monkey bars...I actually did them to my surprise, but now I realize why kids are so in shape.

5 on Friday

1. My little guy is 1 and a half! Wow! And I may have gone over board on teaching him to give me kisses...because he kisses everything...including his cheetah.

 2. I purchased this cute hat this past weekend...in preparation for our Hawaiian vacation next month!

 3. I saw this amazing shirt on thewiegands blog and had to purchase it! This shirt is so comfy and I love what it says!

4. I have officially made an Easter pinboard. I figure, if I start early maybe these projects will actually happen! This runner is oh so cute

5. And I think I found our next home project. How cute is this? I just wonder if it would cause Easton to think he is allowed to write on walls.

Cupid's Delivery

When Easton woke up he was surprised to see a little mailbox outside his door.

I was surprised to see how intense his bed head was. He opened up his mailbox and was so excited for his new dinosaurs.  See below his new "what could it be" reaction that he so cutely does to everything these days.

yes he was so excited he forgot to swallow and the drool just poured. Oh to be a 1 year old.

He inspected each one and then gathered them all to come show me.

These dino's then ate breakfast with him, went for a walk to the park, ate lunch and he attempted to sleep with them too. I did notice he tried to take a bite out of one and figured they most likely are not toddler safe so this Mama nixed that one right away.

And yes I could've faked this and got him dressed and combed his hair for blog approved photos but that just isn't real life folks.

Month of Love

Happy February to you all! We are a couple days late due to the infestation of RSV in our household. It is still in full swing, but hopefully on the mend. We are going to the Pediatrician in the morning just to make sure Easton doesn't have pneumonia or anything crazy like that! As my sweet boy was sleeping on my chest for numerous nights and having him connected to my hip during the day, I too have caught the nasty bug. Therefore I am hoping we can start the month today...

It is nice to turn to another month on my beautiful calendar, always makes me happy to see new bright colors! Once I was all "un-decorated" for the holidays everything seemed kind of bare...now that I have Valentines decor about the house, it is feeling a little more fun again!

With the help of mi madre's sewing room I whipped up a little DIY Valentines flag for the entry. I am pretty proud of this since I did all the measuring, cutting, and sewing (Mama normally rescues me in the process). This cost $0 to make since all the supplies were actually scraps of other projects! P.S. do you notice my beautiful roses in bloom?

Easton helped with the month's theme of love on the chalkboard! You can still see a couple of his scribbles at the bottom of the board. He was drawing all over the place and then he started eating the chalk...guess he wont be helping again for a couple more months!

Starting tomorrow I plan on giving E this little mailbox with an item a day (for the days I am a SAHM) to celebrate valentines month!
